Sunday Salsa
This is our weekly get together. It's an opportunity to learn, share, and practice Salsa; join us! We have had more than 300 over the last six years ( we believe it to be the longest running salsa dance event in the state... please let us know if you know of one that's been going on longer.)
Where - The Outback Lodge, 917 Preston Plaza. map (434)979-7211
When - Every Sunday, 8 to 12 PM
Cover - $5.00 or $10.00 when we have a salsa band.
Lesson - It starts at 8; it is an introduction to the basics of nightclub salsa-on-one. Instruction is usually by Edwin Roa and Amberlyn Sasser of Zabor Dance Studio.
Music - Classic and contemporary latin music, 90% salsa, 10% merengue, cha cha, bachata, reggaeton...
LIVE! - We occassionally have a Salsa band perform. details
Dress - It's casual, but the gentlemen are required to wear a shirt with sleeves, and remove their hats. We do reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone.
